Our programs motivate kids and students to become productive adults and excel in their education pursuit. Our scholarships and academic support help members achieve their dreams at universities, colleges and vocational schools.
The Youth Connection Association for Academic Excellence Inc. in partnership with Young Canadian Benevolent Association, Unison Treatment Home for Youth and other community organizations, provide academic support, scholarship awards and educational support to some of our young people going to institutions of higher learning. Some of these young people are considered disadvantaged and in need of support.
Awards are available to non-members, current or past members, volunteers and current part-time employees (who were past members) of the Club.
The YCA Scholarship Program is intended to recognize youth for their community effort, involvement and participation with the Club, academic success and financial need.
Doing good for others during difficult times in one’s own life requires particularly outstanding commitment. This is why, as part of the selection process, the personal circumstances and/or challenges of each applicant will be considered.
